Cap is an alternative university. There are professors who teach here that dropped out of school in junior high but ended up with Master's Degrees and prof positions. Due to the transfer possibilities of Cap to major Universities, it is possible to travel a very non-traditional path and still wind up wealthy, well-educated and respected. The Purple Thistle school and Windsor House are also local examples of schools that offer a compelling challenge to traditional models of education. Do we really need grades? Does modern education really teach us anything useful or is it just industry hazing? We have a few people who you might interview and a good start for a keen writer who wants the glory of the center spread and front page.
